Building Agentic UIs with Angular

We already use AI to build Angular applications. But that's only half the story.

AI can also be used at runtime to create dynamic user interfaces that adapt to each user's individual needs. Imagine educational software that adapts to different learning styles, business dashboards that surface exactly the information users need, or enterprise applications that simplify complex workflows on demand.

The good news is that we don't have to reinvent the wheel. Open standards such as AG-UI, A2UI, MCP, and upcoming concepts like MCP Apps are already available. Together with libraries such as CopilotKit, they define how AI agents and user interfaces communicate and provide the foundation for agentic applications.

In this hands-on workshop, you'll build an agentic Angular application from scratch. We'll use Mastra to implement AI agents in TypeScript and CopilotKit to connect those agents to Angular. Step by step, you'll learn how the different standards, protocols, and frameworks fit together.

The workshop is led by the engineers behind CopilotKit's Angular integration. You will get firsthand insights into the architecture, best practices, and future direction of agentic user interfaces.

Rainer Hahnekamp is co-founder and AI Engineer at Soverius AI, GDE for Angular, and a member of the NgRx Core Team. He maintains several open source projects, publishes the weekly ng-news roundup, and is one of the engineers behind CopilotKit's Angular integration.

His work spans both Angular and AI Engineering, with a focus on local LLMs, agentic applications, and Agentic UIs.

Murat Sari

Murat Sari is co-founder and AI Engineer at Soverius AI. He has more than a decade of experience building enterprise applications with Angular and has been consulting and training development teams across a wide range of industries.

He is the maintainer of CopilotKit's Angular integration and contributes to open source projects such as the NgRx Toolkit. His current work focuses on AI Engineering, local LLMs, agentic applications, and Agentic UIs.

Before founding Soverius AI, Murat built large-scale software systems across the automotive, gaming, energy, and visualization industries. He was a core team member of the Ogre3D open-source project, building the engineering foundation he now applies to AI.
