Refund policy
Ticket sales are final, with fair exceptions: emergencies are reviewed individually, transfers are possible, and if we cancel, you get every franc back.
Ticket sales are final
As a rule, tickets are not refundable, regardless of the ticket type. As a small community conference we commit to the venue, catering, and other vendors months in advance, and we plan with the tickets that have been sold.
The exceptions to this rule are listed below.
Exceptional circumstances
Life happens. If something serious and outside your control keeps you from attending, you can ask us to review your case individually. Situations we consider include:
- A serious illness or medical emergency (please include documentation)
- A family emergency
- Other extraordinary situations you could not have foreseen or influenced
Each request is reviewed on its own merits. A review is not a promise of a refund.
If we cancel or move the conference
Should we have to cancel the conference, every ticket holder receives their money back in full.
Should we have to move the conference to a new date, your ticket stays valid for that date automatically. If the new date does not work for you, you can request a full refund within 14 days of the announcement.
Ticket transfers
Plans change, and often the easiest solution is to pass your ticket on to a colleague or friend. Write to us and we will handle transfers case by case.
Reduced-price tickets can only be transferred to someone who meets the same conditions, and we may ask for proof.
How to request a refund
Send an email to the address below and include:
- Your order number
- A short explanation of your situation
- Supporting documents, where they apply
Email: hello@ng-switzerland.ch
We reply within a few business days. If a refund is approved, the money goes back to the payment method used for the purchase, usually within two weeks.
The fine print
Decisions on refunds and transfers are made by the organising team and are final. Refunds are only ever issued to the original payment method.
If this policy changes, the current version is always published here, and ticket holders are informed by email.
